Friends Children's Center


Friends Children's Centre was established in 2009 , with the goal of helping street children get access to quality education in Kawangware slum. Commencing with just 30 pupils, the school now educates over 400 children mostly from the streets. The school is headed by Joel Idalia and is located in Kawangware slums of Nairobi Kenya.

Tumaini Academy

Tumaini Academy in Busia, Kenya, was established in 2016 with the purpose offering education to HIV orphaned children in Busia county. Most parents in this area have died of HIV leaving behind very needy children. The school now has 363 children mostly HIV orphans and street children. It is headed by Justine Nayango Wandera. The school offers quality primary education to impoverished children.

Hope Academy

Hope Academy in Busia, Uganda, was established in 2022 with the purpose offering education to HIV orphaned children in Busia district in Uganda. The kids who have parents have also been given an opportunity in their home vicinity. These kids have formerly been walking long distances to access basic education. The school now has 400 children mostly HIV orphans and street children. It is headed by Richard Oguttu. The school offers quality primary education to impoverished children.
